Faith Logs

Another Faith Logs. Another month gone by. Given all the time I spend at home I’m prone to getting overwhelmed with my tiny little projects and pursuits. In the middle of April I decided to give myself a little mind break and also plan my days so I pace out what I want to do better. A little reorganizing helps freshen the perspective and I needed a renewal of sorts in how I spend my time at home. Basically my aim right now is to be best occupied with things but sometimes that can get a little too much. So April was definitely for a slight pause.

The Canvas

She starts her day

With a little cross stitch

But it’s only the first to go

There are a million more

With strands of black and blue

Yellow and navy

How will she ever do?

But she has a patient heart

She sews on with a smile

Puts away her unfolding canvas

For another day

Then one sunny morning she starts her day

With another little cross stitch again

Yes the canvas well it’s still a work in progress and a bit slow right now but very much on my mind.

Garden Beams

Allamanda

I’ve been trying to do some planting and finding new additions for the balcony. The balcony looks pretty busy right now but I’m not sure whether this experiment is going to work. Well fingers crossed!

Practical People Win- Zarna Garg Live!

Zarna Garg

I’ve followed Zarna Garg on Instagram for quite some time and was surprised to know she’s doing a show here. Dressed in a simple shalwar kameez with a statement belt and bindi she entertained us with a series of funny lines from her life and that were relatable to everyone. She had some spontaneous interactions with the audience which had everyone in splits. For me Zarna is a lovable person that I found online, one that can clearly make you smile, it was great to see her up close. Her life experiences clearly show that practical people do win.

Take a walk down my street

April has been about questioning myself, missing old times at work, feeling a block, taking a pause and readjusting patterns so they feel like new. I keep telling myself that’s it’s okay to be in the here and now till I forge new pathways for myself. What do you think? Leave me a note!
