I’ve never been a die-hard sports fan, but there’s one athlete who changed that for me—Rafael Nadal. Watching him play ignited my love for tennis. His grit, determination, and ability to fight for every point as if it were his last have left an indelible mark on me.

If I ever had the chance to interview this legend who remains my hero even beyond his time on the court this is what I would ask him.
You played tennis with unwavering dedication. How do you plan to carry that same spirit into other areas of your life?
Your Rafa Nadal Academy has become a prestigious training ground for young players. What are your future plans for it? How do you see it shaping the next generation of tennis players, both in skill and in mindset.

Now that you have more time for family, what does that mean to you? How would you describe the “Rafa” you bring to your home life?
Do you miss competing at the highest level? Are there aspects of professional sports that still remain a big part of your life?
Have you been able to truly unwind, or do you still find yourself in that competitive mindset?
Would you want your son to follow in your footsteps, or do you prefer for him to find his own path?
What are the most important life lessons you hope to pass on to your son?
Do you and your wife have any plans to work together on projects in the future? If so, what kind of initiatives interest you both?
Apart from tennis, what is the one thing in life that keeps you feeling active and alive?
Throughout your career, you were known for your mental strength. How do you continue to train your mind now that you’re no longer competing? Do you have any routines or practices that help you stay resilient in daily life?
Beyond the sport, what is one lesson from your journey that you would impart to young minds?
Thank you, Rafa! You’re an inspiration always.
