When was the last time you did something on an impulse? I did this month with Faith. But like the Van Gogh quote things do not just happen by impulse, but as a succession of small things linked together.
I had so much time to myself after quitting my regular job so took a quick course on Content Writing just to get familiar with the terms. Then went straight to starting the blog as I was looking for a creative outlet. I have no clue how it all works. Even looked up the meaning of the word ‘blog’ to understand better. Setting up was the tough part. I thought I would never manage getting past editing the theme. The one I have now worked beautifully for me. Very soon I got swept in and opted for a plan and I had my own custom domain http://somethinglikepariz.com/ . I followed guidelines from a Neil Patel article to get me through the set up although skipped on the ones I could not figure out yet.
Then came the part that was most challenging and enjoyable too-The writing process. Hoping I can be more creative with it as I am not a natural writer. Even ordered a checklist from Kristie Hill for setting up a blog. Yes, I have been doing tons of reading and researching. I do not think I will ever be sure of the nature of it all. I am a teacher at heart and will always be even though I’ve given it up. I am just learning the ropes here.

I think Pandemic Blues was the most appreciated post and my first.
The post I enjoyed putting out was The Book Thief. It is a book I really loved reading. http://somethinglikepariz.com/2022/11/29/in-the-heart-of-the-passage-the-book-thief-by-markus-zusak/
The highlight of the month was taking a little Christmas survey that filled Faith with warmth and good cheer. Thank you to all who made the post ‘We all need Christmas’ possible.
On the personal front the most fun I had this month was at the MLTR concert. Teenage dreams are made of these. http://somethinglikepariz.com/2022/12/06/you-can-buy-my-love-with-concert-tickets-michael-learns-to-rock/

The printed canvas I am working on now for over a year-Starry Night over the Rhône takes part of my time. It takes great patience and is a slow progress but it’s my pet project.

The little balcony garden I have had new additions a poinsettia that I’ve always wanted and a Persian Shield. It was nice having a pop of purple and red.
I have been reading ‘The Postmistress of Paris’ by Meg Waite Clayton this month what are you reading tell me in the comments?
It has been a busy and positive month, my theme being- When life gives you lemons you make lemonade. I believe we all are trying hard at something a little every day. Like a good friend said do not give up. It has also been a time for learning something new and gratitude for all those who took time visiting my site. It meant a lot to me.
I was especially inspired by an Alicia Keys Instagram post this December. The caption was beautiful and great motivation.
Let me wrap up Faith Logs and hoping you have a wonderful year ahead filled with warmth, adventure, laughter and loads of the love we all need. Happy Holidays!
Keep the Faith always!

You are amazing.. Keep flying ..!!
Thank you.
