As the year draws to a close, I’m thrilled to present my final collection of iPhotograph- 8 Moments of a Solitary Year, each one a cherished moment captured in time. I believe they’ll evoke a flood of your treasured memories too from the past year.
Lohri Warmth
This first picture is from the festival of Lohri and the reason why I like it so much because Lohri night is so warm and it fills the neighborhood with a certain wonder like living in a village. The synergy of the group for this Lohri was beautiful, peaceful and harmonious.

A Day out on the Town
A marathon conquered and then a walk around town we came across this charming book stall and it looked so lovely in the light. I wanted to stay there forever. It reminded me of In the Heart of the Passage, here in the heart of town was a world full of books and eternal magic.

Sunset Glow
This sunset is one I’d never forget I literally chased it down. It was so soft and serene and it was buzzing with people and had a nice general vibe to the evening. iPhotograph- The Chase, is one such blog where you’d see more of this wonderful sunset. They always seem to live in my heart forever.

Vision of Habba Khatoon
This cloud towering like a peak is one I chanced upon on a rain walk. It means something special for me because later I realized it quite resembled the Habba Khatoon peak from my trip later that August. Maybe it was a sign I was going to visit Habba Khatoon in Gurez Valley.

Sweet Friend and a Rain Walk
This is a moment from a lovely rain walk with my dearest friend. She led the way for us a walk, some warm snacks, lots of chatting and laughter. Our hearts overflowed with joy amidst the downpour.

Magical Shikara Ride
By sheer chance I happened to find myself in Kashmir in a shikara. This was taken before sunrise. I felt I was in a different world and the vendors added to the drama of the moment with their boats huddling and circling us.

Red
My most cherished moment of the year the release of my novelette “Red” and the moment I got my hands on my very own copy. A dream fulfilled, many more to work for.

End of year Joy

The end of the year means much to me. It’s a culmination of the year in all its moments, thoughts, emotions, achievements and even sorrows. Also the promise of a new year twinkles within you and you know even if you may have lost everything or gained just a little, there is still so much to work and strive for and you have more time to do it in.
Hope that you enjoyed the iPhotograph- 8 Moments of a Solitary year, solitary because I looked so within myself for the courage to keep carrying on and pursuing what I wanted this year.
Red- My Novelette
“Red” is like a link, a thread that runs through the entire novelette an emotion tying up the ten different stories together.
