iPhotograph- The Window

I decided to do iPhotograph- The Window based on a picture quite a long time ago that I took in Panchgani. Panchgani has always been about being in the open and long walks to the market. Well this one time we were there it turned out very different because it started to rain. This one day it rained so heavily that we had to stay indoors in our Mount View hotel. All the windows were barred to prevent the rain from coming in and we just gave in and snuggled with our warm jerseys inside. Until it was time to be out again but it was still raining.

We sat out in our dining areas outside our rooms and soon the foodie in me was tempted for some bhajias (fried snacks) apt for that kind of weather. The waiter noticed I wanted some snacks and in awhile bhajias were being served everywhere. We started speaking to the family living next to us and soon we were telling each other stories about us.

Then I was too bored and happened to open a window and there was the most picturesque sight. I went opening all the windows to capture the moment from every angle.

Panchgani is so beautiful in so many ways a moon hung low on a clear night, a starry night, long and winding roads this picture just signifies it’s even more beautiful in the rain.

I loved how the rain let us get to know people, enjoy a snack and for me to be able to capture the most picture perfect fairytale window. My iPhotograph- The Window for you this time.

March

March should be all about breathing in new life to the mundane, finding joy in the ordinary and feeling as though the best part of life is yet to happen. Hope you have a beautiful month of Spring!
