I thought I’d put down a day in the life of me in my Faith Logs. Well just because I felt like breaking down the day for the readers that pop in.
Mornings

Easy breezy? No not at all. I’m not a morning person so I’m always the late riser which makes everything in the morning really rushed. Yes there are those rare days when I’ll be up early and chirping like a bird but not always. I work from home( i.e. run Faith, write and look after the house) so I have no pressure to get ready and head to work. Once I have my morning tea one that I can’t do without, I head to the kitchen. First to prepare breakfast which could be just toast or more elaborate like French toast or even halwa. Then it’s time to cook. I usually know what I’m cooking the day before. So chop chop, sprinkle and simmer.Head off to a refreshing bath and a few minutes to check my phone.
Morning reflections:- Cooking can be quite a chore but it turns out as good therapy for me. No time to reflect on anything else.
Afternoons

Afternoons are like a tug of war. I need a nap but I also have to get down to work. That could be writing up a blog, doing my writing for the day, or to canvas. So I usually have a set plan at what I’m going to focus on. Some days I do more than expected and on some days I slack which is when I get that nap. Yes! How could I forget it’s tea time! My favourite time of the day. There’s usually a snack or biscuits and I love this time. I also get charged up for the evening. Do you crave for tea time?
Afternoon Reflections:- A good and quiet time to work even if slowly on my tasks and writing. A time to get work done basically!
Evenings

Evenings now hmmm? So this is my time to get some movement and exercise but I can be the lazy one so sometimes it’s a miss and sometimes it’s a big hit. I sometimes take a walk down on my street for about an hour or have now taken up practicing yoga in the privacy of my home. Both forms of exercise I truly love. The walk sometimes leads to taking photographs that sometimes get recorded on iPhotograph. So it’s like a working walk.
Evenings Reflections:- I love the vibe of a good evening and understand that my body and mind need regular exercise to keep me feeling good.
Nights

The quote from Van Gogh “I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.” It rings true for me this is my time out on the balcony that I so love. I sometimes read, check my planner, listen to music, write up a Faith Logs, sketch or simply listen to the sounds of the hood and soak it all in. On Saturdays when I stay up late it gets awfully quiet and a bit eerie and I love camping out. It’s at night where I find inspirations for new ideas, set far out goals and carve out new to dos or things to learn.
Night Reflections:- I am perfect where I am I need not be anywhere else than the present.
That’s the day in the life of me. Seems like an easy life but you know how there’s always more than what seems in a regular day. This is how my life beats for now. Don’t beat me up by saying and that’s all you ever do? Sometimes you get to choose the kind of life you want for yourself and I choose now. I choose this today!
