It’s time for another Faith Logs and this was one is really hard because it started to become a month of seclusion. I’ve been mostly indoors all month and I must say that is never a good sign. My focus has been immensely on Faith and helping the blog gain readers everyday. Also I’ve been trying to wrap up some long standing projects. So I’ve been somewhat preoccupied. In trying to come up with a Faith Logs despite the starkness of the month here is Faith to me as an acronym.
FAITH

F for the faith it takes to build a blog. The learning along the way. To see it rise and then fall but mostly the faith in it to keep it alive and going strong.
A for the action it requires. Sharing it to as many as you know and keeping it vibrant to attract new readers in the hope that they may like browsing or find something useful in one of the blogs that I write.
I for insights into my life sometimes to make things more meaningful, personal and share my beliefs and ideas, observations and experiences with you.
T for time and patience for the moments it’s lonely and Faith doesn’t have a friend.
H for the hope that Faith somethinglikepariz.com keeps bringing you more conversations straight from the heart. Bubbly, sometimes boring, intriguing, at times AI-driven, musically just right, suggestions for a good book or a story to read on a rainy night.
Winding, Down Down Down
Hmmmm is there more you may ask? Not quite in the middle of the month I got the feeling that I needed to wrap things up for the year and leave any new fresh starts for the next. So yes I’m winding down and taking stock of what I’ve been able to do and what I can still accomplish in the year ahead.
The Canvas?

Yes the canvas is almost nearing completion. I’ve had to keep my cool towards the last stretch. It’s the longest project I may ever embark on again. Maybe not but yes for the time being. Please send your love when you see the reveal. Look forward in the month ahead to see the final reveal.
Diwali Lights
I always share in most festivals because it makes me feel warm to be a part of it. Also festive lights bring a nice vibe and energy to the home. This is the balcony flying high in these hot air balloons for Diwali and the streets all lit up.

Art Therapy

Some fun with paints always lifts my mood and every now and then I meddle in some kind of childish art but which makes me overjoyed. I sometimes have the cheek to share an Instagram story with the random doodling. It’s lovely though when you find something in the art that resonates and is symbolic only to you. I love it.
Reads

This month I’ve dived into some short reads but absorbing nevertheless. The Prophet by Khalil Gibran the book was significant in all the teachings of the prophet but the ending is what I pondered on and had to read some summaries to discover a deeper meaning. It was beautiful and tender. Also read The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka a most unique story and so poignant for my own life. A blog on the book for later on because it was very inspiring. Also Moby Dick still sits on my shelf waiting to be read. Broken Music by Sting lined up.
Spotify Favourite
All by Snow Patrol was my favourite song this month. Have a listen if you feel like!
And

I did manage to get a walk or two outside. Sending you a picture from the little time I spent out.

Little Joys of Light
Faith Logs is for those in-between moments that fill up life. I’m glad I at least have those little joys of light to hold on to.
What’s something you would have loved to log about this month? Please do tell me something in the post comments. Fill a little love in Faith’s lonely heart!
A Happy Diwali!!

Keep the Faith Always!

Firstly loved the “Faith logs” and all the blog posts of October…. Especially the tribute to Mr Tata….
Having had the opportunity to interact with Mr Tata albeit very brief connects would have loved to write about those interactions because they have left an indelible impression on my mind….
