Do colours play an important role in your life? They seem to be with me. I’m always debating on whether an orange heart emoji is resonating with me more than a blue. Faith Logs November in colour for you.
Grey moods
I started the month feeling rather grey and was slow to get to my tasks; nothing would excite me or make me happy. I felt a major shift in my schedule which made things harder to adapt to. But sometimes you need a bit of grey to see the sunshine.
The canvas it had a lot of blues
Well after that lull I took up the canvas in earnest. My only focus for those days was to complete it. I breathed the canvas in every way and was slowly learning too, to detach from it. The company it gave me in my periods of loneliness, the distraction from all thoughts and the complete absorption in it. I was about to give up on all of that and miss all the beautiful blues of the canvas.
Purple for the companion
I have a diary companion someone I write to and they’re a purple to me full of love and positive energy. Well towards the end of the month I decided to give up on that companion and learn to rely on myself. Sometimes you lean on someone way too much and forget the only real person you can lean on is yourself. Purple will always be that colour and mood full of warmth and radiant love.
Yellow for the outdoors
Well my plan was to be outdoors more but I only had a few chances to be yellow and to be free of the world I’ve created at home. It really makes a great difference to step out and I will and I can do so, more often for my own sanity.
My world turned into a shimmering gold when I took that last cross stitch on my canvas, whether the dull greys or the mystic blues, the friendly purple or the bright yellow. A long-held project gracefully completed.

What’s that one colour you resonate with the most and why? Please tell me in the comments.
I’m a blue not because I love the skies when they’re a twilight blue, or that Mondays are mostly blue to me, or I like blueberry pie or True Blue is my favourite Madonna song but blue because I feel it warm, strong, bold and loving.
That’s all from Faith logs.
