The Answer Prompt

2025 started with a surprise. I’m usually extremely closed with the blog. I write them, I post and have just a handful of readers dropping in. So one Monday I decided to answer the daily prompts that related to me and thought I could try it. I was so touched by WordPress readers visiting the website dropping likes, and getting engaged with the blog. I had never once seen such traffic on the blog. So I did my part even though I read a handful of blogs myself. I went into blogs that had appreciated the article.

It was startling to see the similarity between some of the blogs in terms of thoughts, experiences, and even style, and it made me stop to wonder. We are so very alike in the way we live life, think, ideate, and create and the way we open up about ourselves no matter where we may be in the world. I was most happy to dig deep into these blogs, and know I will keep returning to them. In 2022, I started Faith. In 2025, I found a small community, the one I was longing for but didn’t know quite how to break away from being a lonely blog. What wonders an answer prompt can do!

Embroidery
Faith Logs

So do you remember the canvas? Now the cross stitch was simple though tedious cause I had to do so many. I decided to learn a few embroidery stitches this year. Well, I decided to begin by setting up on the balcony on a windy day. It was a rough start clearly from the messy stitches you can see but I had fun nevertheless. I found a course on Udemy to help me out. I need tons of practice with these first few.

It’s a good decision to want to learn new things but the guitar has never been easy and I always quit. I resumed some practice and still stuck on the GM chord. Any ideas how to find my way around it? Too much for my tiny fingers.

A Blog I Loved

I just loved this blog; a haiku, so much depth in three lines, and a stunning nature shot.

Leaf and Twig is a blog I’ve been hooked on to. It’s such a pure and genius idea for a blog.

I have to say I’m taking a more active interest reading more blogs and I’ve enjoyed what I came across this month.

Wrapping Up

Sometimes a nudge from someone afar can change your entire day from feeling gloomy to feeling whole again. I’m learning to reciprocate.

Hoping that if you’re here you can help spread the word for Faith.
