Not to go back into the past but I’m sure many of you may have noticed during the pandemic that in all the chaos and terrible times for some. Mother Nature seemed to have got a well deserved break.
The couple of hours before curfew every one took to being outside and you could literally feel the air cleaner, the skies brighter, flowers blooming where there were none, trees looking fresh and green. There was almost a sense of balance being restored. We fail to otherwise care for the environment unless forced to.
A simple walk for me transformed into a walk closer to nature, to be able to breathe fresh air and bask in the warm sunlight. Every step I took made me stronger inside although things have a way of reversing. It wasn’t just me every one longed to be in the outdoors and cherish it and never have I seen nature more welcoming almost like singing a happy tune.

She takes what’s Hers
A simple rickshaw ride
The rider and I began to discuss
What we’re doing to the land
Overburdening it he said
And I rightly agreed with him
Then suddenly
Time stood still for all
Locked in
Maybe it was a sign
For something deeper for all

Lives changed, the world came to a halt
Until one day we stepped out we did
We looked around bright turquoise blue skies
Eagles soaring above
The calm of the sea
The lush of the trees
Nature was singing its song
We could destroy the world in a million ways
Ravage it for all our material needs
Evil and wars spreading wrath
But there’s a thin red line
For when we do cross that
When balance must be restored
Remember she takes what’s Hers

February for a tune to hum, a beautiful walk, a peaceful moment, a time to reflect, something pretty to weave, words on paper and never forgetting to keep moving on. Keep moving on.
iPhotograph are for the moments that captured my heart. Hope you enjoyed them!
