I’ve been home for almost the third year after quitting teaching. While being at home is unpredictable and lacks a certain discipline that a steady job brings into your life. A little excitement and shift in momentum helps the days to pass by more nicely. Dig into Faith Logs for what created a buzz for me this April.
I’m a multitasking Goddess

You would think being at home only means staying snuggled in your PJ’s. It’s far from that you need to show up for every area of your life and all the people close to you and around you. At least in the office it’s just you and your desk. At home you have to squeeze in time for the things that matter even though they are a priority. I think I do a decent job but I most certainly have some anger issues on some days. Even then I’m a lot calmer and trying to juggle the best that I can.
Yoga Practice

I’ve always loved yoga since the time I would go for yoga classes. I had a fantastic instructor. Now I practice it at home and it’s really uplifting me and rejuvenating my senses. Charlie Follows is a channel you must subscribe to for beautiful yoga flows taught carefully and naturally. It’s my go to now though I can be more regular.
Reading Hour

My reading habit was a bit slow in the middle. I read Sanyaas in the City a Book by Adarsh Gupta. It was a calming and insightful read to help you achieve your Soul Mind. The Beekeeper of Aleppo A Novel by Christy Lefteri was a deep and moving book about the life of refugees. Hope to read more next month.
Garden over haul

My garden got a beautiful refresh. I had a visit from a gardener who did a complete repotting for me. Although I’m feeling the absence of a few plants I lost and the garden just doesn’t feel the same anymore. I miss the croton dearly I’d call it Ninja and at night it would almost sway and dance and talk to me. I wish I had called for help sooner. Leave you with a picture of it in better days.
Naive HeArt

A little manic of me one day I decided to create an art page as an escape. It’s called Naive HeArt which means the art is childish and naive, just to have fun experimenting with it. Have a look at it. I’ve only just begun. It’s silly I know but I tend to do the darndest things. While it may not mean anything, I love the time and space I create for it and work on a piece. Still just child’s play!
Puttakappulu
When you steadily work for something the moment most precious is when it’s still yours under that reading light and no one else’s yet.
Puttakappulu my third novella has been a project I’ve worked patiently on and enjoyed every moment of composing it and putting it together. Take a moment to grab yourself a copy. It’s a light hearted and gentle read that you don’t want to miss. It’s not just mine now but I hope will also be yours to keep.
