Wondrous Skies

Wondrous Skies

Skies they mean a different thing to me

Sometimes they are more beautiful than the sea

I’ve often sat to watch the skies change colours

The skies they capture my attention

Till the last speck of grey that I do see

Wondrous Skies

A place I’ve been to since a little girl

Rolling down slopes was the most fun I had

As I grew older nature would behold me

From a bird across a sky

To a bright blue

My heart would be sad sometimes

But the drama in the sky

Would make it glad all over again

Skies

Have you waited for all the colours to change

For the sky to catch on fire

And seem to roll out to you

Have you waited till the blues go orange?

And then?

And then the grey starts to dot the sky

The evening is almost over

It’s time to say goodbye

The hush of the sea follows you

Made for May

May

Dreams to be brought alive

New goals to be set

Summer days fulfilled

Some art work lying around

Adding beauty to my thirsty soul

I believe I was made for May

May this month bring to you many transformations and tiny miracles!
