Hello! Yet another Faith Logs. This month has been exciting, old work reaching its culmination new finding a way into my life and life a little less stressful than it was last month. A better month should I say.
Wrapping Up
The journey of writing a book lasts only for a period of time. There is that moment when you feel you’ve done enough to promote it and you need to let it go and hope that it grows organically. I had great fun marketing my book this time around from book related photographs for Instagram, stories, creative reviews, blogs, a Pinterest board. I tried everything that I was able to do best. Just when things start to pick up I feel a pull to get engrossed in the normal rhythm of days and start writing again.
Yes it’s the process that I gravitate to each time. I love the anticipation of drafting that first chapter and the building blocks that follow for that final book to send out to the world. It’s a great feeling. Yes I’m often dejected without reaching a required reader base but the joy of bringing a book from the first word to its cover is just something I’ve grown to love.

Embroidery Time
I worked on this little quilt of sorts a patch for my art handle. I really loved the time I spent with it. Each block for me held some kind of story. I worked with stitches I was familiar with mostly satin. It was good work.
Some time for Reading
It was a good month of reading for me; As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow Zoulfa Katouh a sweet war romance story, Tree Stories a rare book gifted by a friend by Stefano Mancuso and Days at the Morisaki Bookshop: A Novel, Book by Satoshi Yagisawa suggested by a dear book reviewer on her broadcast channel. A good month for catching up on reading. What was your favourite read this month?

My tears are streamin like our favourite show tonight
Miley Cyrus with More to Lose just caught my heart. I’ve heard this song on repeat and I’m not tired of it yet. It’s so beautiful and has so much style. There’s that bit with the saxophone I think and it’s just beautiful the music leading into her voice. Love it!
So ending Faith Logs I’d just like to say I haven’t said goodbye to Puttakappulu I’ll keep bringing it up I’m sure. I had a wonderful time with this simple and if I could say charming book about friendship, love, heartbreak and like somebody said the beauty of ordinary things.
