It’s waiting in the shadows
For someone to come and rest
It’s as though it’s been there forever
For a heart that knows the twilight

She’s standing there waves crashing
She’s in her heart
The grey that she sees
Her lilting sea song

A lonely walk
I took a pause
And in my breathing you seemed to be
Nestled in my dreams
-Flowers On My Path-
There were tough times
That I didn’t understand
But often I failed
To see the flowers on my path
