For this iPhotograph- A Street Somewhere I pulled out at random pictures I loved from the street where I live and some from elsewhere. Hope you enjoy the walk down.
Pink

As I walk down
The skies take on a different hue
A pink bougainvillea
Opens up to me
Like a world so brand new
While the skies turn a soft lavender then a
Cotton candy pink
And while sometimes
I get to walk on a
Different street
Oh! I hope there will be more like that!
Do you see an Elephant in the Sky?

The street is ordinary on most days
Runners run, people stare at the sea
When I look up one day
The street looked different to me
A great big elephant
Popped out behind that busy street
Maybe it came wondering
What the buzz was about
Maybe it came for the lady
To be part of her blog
Wondrous skies of elephants and rabbits
The street where I come from
Headlights

I’m taking my run
It’s almost twilight
And the street starts to glimmer
With those headlights gleaming through
The cars look snazzy
And the cyclists form a pretty picture
The street is alive
With those headlights glowing
It’s a sign I’m almost
Heading home
Different Strokes

Sometimes not often
I get to travel
To that elsewhere place
We’re looking for a coffee place
And I see charm before my eyes
A sunset so warm soft out of a place of beauty
Somewhere again we went to find the tiger
A beautiful trek
Down back to a rural village
The gems you do see
When you’re on a different street
Morning

Rarely am I out early morning
So once for a walk
I stepped out so
The street was empty
Except for one walking their dog
I wondered if it was a hallucination or really someone there
Although it felt spooky
It was most beautiful
Just me on my street
Till there were beams of light
Sunrise, Sunrise!
Just a few reflections on the photographs and what I felt about them. iPhotograph- A Street Somewhere for the charm I see on a street and I know there will be many more posts like these.
A street has life of its own and yours in it. The charm it exudes is more your personality than its own beautiful vein.
October what do you have in store for us? A smile, a twinkle in the eye, a soft giggle and plenty of sunshine. Just an ordinary October I guess!
