The art is steady but it finds no response.
I find that I go to my art more often than I do to writing. It’s not about creating in numbers but finding those intimate moments with what you’d like to paint and you. There is a special kind of joy in it and it absorbs you completely.
I love sharing my art on my art page but I find that there is no reaction to it and I feel my naive heart style that I like to call it is failing somewhere. I have learnt to shrug off the zero likes and no shares as I continue to build my grid like an art wall one little funky piece at a time.
What I’ve learnt is how I approach each art work. It differs from moment to moment. For instance -Feel Pretty- the blue flowers made me enjoy watercolors because I usually struggle with them. I also find with each acrylic painting that I enjoy acrylics because I can think with them. They give me freedom to explore an idea.

Coming back to: The art is steady but it finds no response.
If no one else, I respond to it in many ways; it lights up my days, my interest in it deepens, I discover things I can create when before it felt I never could. The response lies in me happy, free, connecting with art in my own childlike way.
Art should move you in some way and make you feel an emotion. For now my art touches my soul and it’s waiting to connect to another.

The red painting with the reflection and the one with the sun’s rays flowing through are my favourites… Love the red because have always liked to see and photograph reflections ❤️ and the sun’s rays flowing through signify hope…💛
Also love the Dervish Linocut work. It’s a unique and different art form and also reminds me of the book you wrote which is one of my favourites – “The Dervish” 💜
Thank you Kash for all the lovely compliments for my work.
