I hope to [fingers crossed] put together a few blogs of concerts I would perhaps attend and share my love for music in -You can buy my Love with Concert Tickets.
Some surprises are meant to take you down a trip to nostalgia. My sister had tickets to the Michael Learns to Rock concert to be held in Mumbai.
I at once revisited their songs the ones I used to play on repeat when I was 16. I remember them as a simple and humble band with the most romantic songs. The cassette I had would be played repeatedly. Boy bands were a thing then in the 90s with Boyzone, Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block. Michael Learns to Rock was a favorite for many.

Michael Learns to Rock (also known as MLTR) is a Danish soft rock and pop rock band formed in 1988. The band currently consists of Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz and Kåre Wanscher. Søren Madsen was an original member of the group since its formation but left in 2000. The band has sold over 11 million records over the course of their career, with the majority sold in Scandinavia and Asia.

The concert on Sunday felt like a college stadium. The crowd sang every line with the band and I was surprised at myself for singing through all the songs. I am usually never good with lyrics and go completely blank. It felt like it was yesterday to sing with a band that became so popular in my teenage years. It was surprising to see even boys sing along for a band that girls swooned over.
There were fans from every age group. How memorable it would be for Michael Learns to Rock for having fans sing to their songs back in India on their Back to the Road Tour. Good music is indeed evergreen.

The band played the crowd favorites – Complicated Heart, Breaking my Heart, Someday, The Actor, Out of the Blue, I Still Carry On among others. They also played their most recent release Children of Tomorrow.
A little bit of History: – [ From Wikipedia ] that I really enjoyed.
For the ‘Rock Grand Prix’ competition in their hometown Aarhus, they had to hurriedly come up with a name before posting the demo tape; Richter wrote as the name of the sender ‘Michael Learns to Rock’, partly inspired by a line from his school English textbook and partly because they were a pop band taking part in a rock concert. Lentz and Richter have admitted that the band was named after Michael Jackson: “I think Richter was thinking of Michael Jackson, because he was called ‘the king of pop’ and it was kind of funny, because it was like, what would he sound like if he learned to rock? It was wordplay,” Lentz has stated. Richter claimed in an interview : “Yeah, it was like Johnny Hates Jazz and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Sure, I’ve regretted calling ourselves this many times since, but we were successful so quickly, we had to stick with it and over time I got used to it.

I would never think a teenage dream would come true after so many years. It was truly worth the wait. Michael Learns to Rock you are truly and still breaking many hearts. Thank you for a lively concert filled with good memories. Farvel! Kom igen.
And like I always say you can buy my love with concert tickets. What’s your favorite MLTR number?
