iPhotograph- Yin and Yang point to a few photographs that I took in black and white. Many a times I take pictures and then convert them to a black and white and they look so much better.

At times I like both versions of a photograph in color and in black and white. One day walking along on a rainy day on the promenade I decided to set my pictures to be black and white and I really liked the outcome.

The clouds, the birds, the mangroves dotted along the shore all seemed to tell a story in black and white.

What is black and white to you?
To me it’s two colors that compliment each other and blend into one another just the same. It’s like a relationship between two people poles apart yet reflecting each one’s personality as their own.

Black and white represents the varying moods you may have during the day the good, the bad and the ugly and embracing the emotions it brings with them.

Black and white represents something richer and deeper than a color like pink may not be, although on some days you may feel like a pink. On most days we are just black and white; plain and simple, come across as who we really are, no bright colors, no false pretenses our true selves the bright and the dark sides.

Yin & Yang
Black and white Yin and Yang we all need a shred of darkness to balance the positive energy. It helps us to be more intense, beautiful people. That is why these pictures seem to stand out because they have a certain balance and a flow in them which is required in a photograph and is even true to life and its colors. Life and it’s Yin and Yang.

Hope these pictures have brought out a certain balance in them and look more beautiful than pictures that would be filled with vibrant color. May July be a month where we strike a balance between the different shades and areas of our lives and yet have a certain warmth left deep in our hearts. Hope that your inner Yin meets your Yang in July and black and white are the only colors we need.
iPhotograph- Yin & Yang
Yin the light in life Yang the darkness in life. It’s strange cause we have both.
