Faith Log Reflections
I’ve learnt this month that although I wished to be a writer I’m only understanding the various aspects of it slowly and gradually. That there’s more to getting the book out there and you really need to work in a holistic way to reach your audience. I’ve had some fantastic experiences this month of learning and then learning some more and yet not knowing everything there is about the book world. It’s nice to have some help and guidance.
When I lack focus I always take a step back and try to regroup instead of pushing myself further into feeling lost. It really works for me to help regain my composure. A day lost doesn’t mean that you haven’t gained by it.
The rains have made everything so refreshing and rejuvenating. I don’t feel as lonely when it pours.
I tried to weave in some Sports into my routine. Me playing tennis? No just catching a few games on the tele. I’m reminded of how a good game can lift my spirits and that I can get so involved in it.
I’m often reminded by family and friends that I need to pick myself up and try for a regular job again. No one thinks that the blogging and writing are enough. It’s true but this is how I feel in the moment a little creative and perhaps it isn’t time yet to go back to work and hence I’m happy where I am. Let me know your thoughts on it. Have you ever felt reluctant about going back to something you quit on and are anxious about starting all over?
Faith gives me the complete detox in a way. When I have to sit and focus on getting a blog written down and the energy that flows into trying to make it interesting enough. Also the belief you have that readers will enjoy it and give it a chance. I don’t think I’ll ever regret Faith not even in those days when I seem to have nothing to say or write.
