When the sky starts to meet the street with even a hint of orange, dance with it.
Every once in awhile life takes you through a roller coaster of emotions, plenty of highs and lows and lots of the mundane filling your days and then, you’re just walking down the street lost in your thoughts and the sky starts to throw some color in your life like a bittersweet symphony. Also my favorite song by Verve.

Here I was minding my own business but I already knew the sun was going to play its orchestra in the sky. The glow was so warm and full of a synergy between happy and positive.

Suddenly the sky was streaked with orange hued clouds and here was when I couldn’t stop capturing every minute of it. I do enjoy it but I rarely miss the chance of capturing the moment.

I am at this time almost giddy with how spectacular the sky looked and how beautifully reddish orange the light was like a streamer across the sky.

A cyclist go by and it almost felt like the sky met the ground so close it looked to the street where I walked. Nature can exhilarate you and this was one such day for sure.

I found the charming spots which on any other day may feel plain yet charming but today they seemed to be painted with wonder and magic.

Even a simple red bus stood out for me on this day and I seemed to notice it as if it was a bus filled with a picnic group. Some of the passengers looked out to see what I was so excitedly clicking with my phone. It happens often that when I make a little scene of clicking a sunset, there are almost always three other people stopping to admire the beauty of the day.

I feel that life serves you more lows than you can handle. Just when things are going splendidly there maybe another hurdle to overcome. In that stark reality we are sometimes forced to remember what makes us happy and that it is present if you look for it. That life shouldn’t stop holding a wonder for you no matter what the present circumstances.

It really starts to get bittersweet when you find the colours fading. I usually feel a little drained from the high I’d been feeling watching the art show. My face is flushed and I’m so happy to have been outside.

An orange hue across the sky
Making my head reel
For I wonder when
I last saw this kind of wizardry

Palm trees swaying
The street aglow
I never want to go home
If the sky keeps putting up this show

The orange leaves a strand of silver
I keep walking on
Hoping to catch
Every last speck of colour until twilight falls

I wrap another iPhotograph Bittersweet Symphony for all the nature and photography lovers for whom a beautiful sky means everything.

Absolutely loved the way you’ve woven this blog around the ever-changing sky… the little details, the beautiful build-up and then that culmination in the most gorgeous sunset 🌅 And these pictures… simply stunning! ✨ You’ve captured not just the beauty of the moment, but the feeling of it so beautifully. 🧡💛
Thank you!
