Just some odd feelings

It’s been a busy month and that’s why it’s been a blur? Or have I been too engrossed or maybe a little lost? Whatever it maybe I know there were some happy moments to cling to and I guess at the end of the day, a week, a month or even a year that’s all you really need. So let’s check the records!
Breakfast with me?
A recipe idea from a friend made me turn my usual boring breakfast of toast and tea into something quite lip smacking. A slice of toast, spread some butter, avocado next and sprinkle with cheese and herbs. I think when you reinvent a breakfast it naturally brings positivity to your day. I should do it more often.
Sunshine in the garden
I had a really soothing time tending to the plants. It gives me pleasure to take some time out to give them some TLC. I love how they look fresh and happy after. It’s so therapeuitic.
Bookish Time
I read The Little Life a novel by Hanya Yanagihara. The friendships and relationships woven in the story really touched my heart. Moby Dick is a book that’s yet on my shelf begging to be read. I’ve only just begun The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak a suggestion by someone. Are you reading anything I would like? Let me know in the comments.
Walk along

A Getaway Finally
The end of the month brings a short getaway with my family something we all really need. I hope I have a few pictures to share later.
Faith Logs to me is a constant reminder to find those moments that bring me joy and peace. It’s a reminder to appreciate what life gives in the moment small or big. It helps me to pause on the positive and let go of the negative. Yes my month has its dark times but Faith Logs does just that. Tap into your heart to see what really made you feel good and hold on to that.
