I’m not an Actor I’m not a Star

And I don’t even have my own car. This Michael Learns to Rock tune is so true to me. I’ve never owned a car or bike not that I can drive or ride. I like collecting pictures of the ones that are unique, vintage or just really snazzy to me. I thought I’d do an iPhotographs of the collection just for fun. Here’s I’m not an Actor I’m not a Star.

I would drive by in a fast car

If I had a Morris Minor

Or that grey Beetle

Cruising’ in my Impala

But I’ve known the hustle all my life

And the struggles won’t let me

Get the car of my dreams

Get into one of those monster jeeps

On a dirt road

Far away somewhere

Escaping the city and the strife

In my Land Rover jeep if I could

But this girl ain’t driving

She’s just better off walking

I think I’d look rad

In a shiny, black Jaguar or a bright yellow Mercedes Benz

Ooo! My heart would die for one of

Those swanky little things

Oh! No can do

I just hail a rickshaw from the corner of the street

White looks pretty elegant don’t you think

But only on those cars not on me

They’re everywhere on the street

Could I have them in my empty parking lot?

I just have a little, red dinky

A classic Benz

Or an Anime girl

Painted on my car

Yes I so would love that

If there was money in the bank

Cars are cool bikes even better

I like the raw sound

The thunder

The colours

But let you in on a secret

This girl can’t even ride a bicycle

For small mercies

She’s not an actor she’s not a star

So when she walks down her street

She captures these

But her heart has really fallen for

That old run down jalopy

On her side of the street
